I collect games and other items for the Nintendo Virtual Boy. Seeing how the console is over 20 years old, it's difficult to sometimes find the games in a complete state (with box, instructions, supportive insert). So I found a nice little project over on the Planet Virtual Boy forums detailing how to create protective and nice looking boxes for the VB games that I get cartridge only from a Nintendo 3DS aftermarket cart case. The problem I faced was that members of the forum were using razor blades to cut craft foam to get an exact cutout to fit the cartridge to hold it into the case for a more professional look. I couldn't do that with my own collection. So off to modelling I went. The laser engraver does quite a bit of damage and leaves clean edges. My unsteady hands wouldn't have been able to do as good a job with a razor blade. For best results slow it down with G1 and add a feed rate.
