This is almost complete. Just waiting on my brushes. I'm using VCarve Pro and I've never done CAD or any programing. I've only ever drawn on Microsoft Paint. HAHA. Well thanks to a couple here I'm very thankful to their posts giving their ideas. I also gathered some ideas off YouTube. So, that being said, here is my take on a Dust Shoe. Hope you like.

Thanks Laks. This VCarve Pro is pretty fun. Now I just need ideas so I can make cool things.

If you can do that for your first project, you can do anything!
Nice designing!

There is a button on the router motor. It is the spindle lock button. With my dust boot, I had to drill and tap a hole on the side. When I run a bolt in that hole it presses the button. Then I can wrench on the collet.
Don't forget to remove that bolt before you hit the power on switch like I have twice allready LOL.
(I guess that is why they make red ribbons that say "Remove before flight"!)
