I’m looking to buy a Carve king to try it out. I was wondering how well it works for engraving lamacoid plastic for making electrical tags. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Check out the project section of the forum. Making plastic label tags is no problem for the Carve King.

Hey Daniel,
As Bruce pointed out, the Carve King will do just fine with plastic labels. I know a fair number of people have contacted us about lamacoids and bought our machines for that purpose.

Thanks guys,
I ordered a carve king on Sunday. I know very little about this but I like to think I can figure most things out. Any suggestions on a bit to use for engraving and cutting lamacoid plastic. Again any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Thank you for your purchase. Single flute and “O” flute tools usually do well in plastics. The big thing with plastic is making sure the two looks good and sharp. You don’t want to cut a bunch of MDF, for example, then run that same tool in plastic.
