Hello,
First time here, So here goes nothing. I Bought a M3 router from my uncle he had got one and never did anything with it. He ended up not wanting it, said it was to complicated. SO I decided to give it a try. I'm a computer guy so I figured what the heck. So my question is, eh bought the kit with no router, but bought the router mount kit. But he cant remember what router he got the mount for. Is there anyway for me to tell what router i need to get to use for this mount.
Thanks in advance.
I'm sure ill be back with more questions as i work more on this.

Measure the inside diameter of the mount (round area that squeezes the router). The bosch colt is 71mm, the dewalt one is 65, and the spindle motors are smaller, around 50mm I think.

Happy to help. I love my millright cnc and spend alot of time on my pc designing cad models and creating cam programs. So having pc skills really helps getting your sweet new cnc to cut what you dream up. Congrats on your m3, IMO the millright cnc's are the best value in cnc's in their price range.

Thank you for making a machine that I can afford and holds a tolerance. I took my sweatass time assembling my carve king. About a week. Which brings me to the suggestion of taking your time during assembly. I haven't had to make any adjustments since assembly a few months ago. And the largest deviation I have measured is +/- .06mm in the y axis and .02mm in the x. Granted I cut mostly acrylic and polycarbonate with a conservative feedrate of 800 to 1000mm/min with a .6mm stepdown. But still I amazed my carve king holds this tolerance with no adjustments, just took my time during assembly.

Well I went to Lowes to grab the router and I was looking at it and found out the size was the same as my porter cable I had already so I messed with it and walla it fits. So I can't wait to start messing with it. trying to figure out the best programs to use. I don't have internet access in the garage, so i make my svg in the house and taking it out to the garage and going to use UGS to run the cnc..and see how that goes. So i'm sure ill be back for lots of info.
