OK so one problem was solved, the spindle would not turn on, I had to manually spin the top to get it started...then it works fine until I turn it off.
HOWEVER I have issues with the machine not printing long files. Somewhere between 700K and 800K it just....stops.
So No idea what the issue is.
Here is what I have done.
UGCS-platform
bCNC
IntellG-code
3 different PCs
Windows 10
Linux Mint
So my next step is to use another Uno I think. I have one here (from a homemade 3D scanner I made)
Flashed with GRBL1.1f, used the Millright hex with homing switches file.
This is what I now have, does this look right?
EDIT: After I flash 1.1f and connect to ugcs it shows as 1.1f, I then flash the HEX file from millright and connect and it now shows as .9j...
Is the hex file old?
Also it is missing lines $31 $32
I used the original arduino and changed the below settings to match my current one..should work right?
**** Connected to COM10 @ 115200 baud ****
Grbl 0.9j ['$' for help]
>>> $$
['$H'|'$X' to unlock]
$0 = 10 (step pulse, usec)
$1 = 255 (step idle delay, msec)
$2 = 0 (step port invert mask:00000000)
$3 = 0 (dir port invert mask:00000000)
$4 = 0 (step enable invert, bool)
$5 = 0 (limit pins invert, bool)
$6 = 0 (probe pin invert, bool)

$12 = 0.002 (arc tolerance, mm)
