Looking at designandmake being asked a what file type choices are V3m stl png rlf. Any help would be appreciated Jim

It depends on what CAD/CAM software you want to use. If you want to use Fusion 360 you can work with an STL.

A couple of these are 3D design file formats. As far as what you want, depends on the CAD/CAM software you are using to edit and produce your tool pathing. V3M, STL are 3D vector files. PNG is a raster based image file similar to bitmap, BMP. RLF, from what I can find, is an ArcGIS page layout file. I think V3M is a Vectric file format which makes CAD/CAM design software. www.vectric.com/
