Anyone here own MeshCAM - if so how do you like it? Do you have the standard or Pro version? Thanks

You know it is free for 15 days, just download it and try it out.

I used it on a trial basis and did not move forward with buying it. In fairness to that product, I didn’t really put enough effort in. I ended up going with art cam instead. Art cam has since been discontinued though.

ArtCAM had a thirty day trial period and I had a hard time trying out the program as a total nubee. I had to learn how to use it first before really getting a feel to evaluate it, and by then the tryout period was over. Unless you're already familiar with the workings of a similar program it's difficult to evaluate the software in a few weeks. But maybe that's just me.

Agreed - downloaded CAMBAM but it's radically different from Fusion which is almost automatic CAM . . .so it's hard to tell if I'd like it. That said, the demo for MOI (moment of inspiration) is a month so really got the feel for that and bought it - it's a nice NURBS based modeling program which is written by the same guy that wrote Rhino (Michael Gibson). It is a terrific companion to Fusion 360. The company is also very hands on like Derek . . .

No, ArtCam has been discontinued as of begining of February. If you already have a subscription you can renew up to July this year, but that's it. I was looking at it in December, thinking I'd have more time during Christmas break. And bought it the first week of January. Autodesk said thankyou...take a flying leap...in February.
