Millright CNC M3: I try to initiate the Homing sequence with $H but I get a pop-up that says "error: Setting disabled". Is something not set correctly?

Check the GRBL setting s (if using UGCS it is under options machine settings or something)look for $22 it should say $22=1 if it says $22=0 then it is disabled, just change it. $23 should be $23=0 by default (top right is home) Below are default settings EXCEPT line $100 and $101 (these are my adjusted steps, your should say 40 until you finish fine tuning it)

Unfortunately my firmware settings dialog is blank. However, I did set $22=0 and so now the homing routine works. However, it won't go back to zero. It's a start though. Thanks! Attachments:

I think I will leave this for Derek since $22=0 should be DISABLED and allow it to work.... that and it came up blank might be an issue as well..

What is it doing when it won’t go back to zero? What version of UGS are you using and what version of Grbl?

I think I've got it now. UGS Plateform v2 stable nightly build is what I was using. I switched to the Universal Gcode Sender v1.0.9 and all my settings show up. On a side note, does it matter if $22 is enabled or disabled?

It should. $22 is 1 for homing ON and $22=0 for homing OFF
