Just wondering if the biggest end mill that you guys are using for the Dewalt 611 is a 1/4" End mill? I have been searching everywhere and it is hard to find anything bigger with a 1/4" shank. Are they just not made, or are my search terms bad? The signs that I am doing are doing a large amount of clearance work and I could really reduce carve time if I could find and use a larger diameter end mill. Thanks in advance.

Are the dado bits OK to use for surfacing a spoil board? Currently I use a 1/8" for that and of course it takes a loooooooooong time!

This is the biggest bit I have used. Whiteside 6210 CNC Spoilboard Surfacing Router Bit, 1/4" Shank www.amazon.com/dp/B071748JQN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_w2PVAb2G22NR9I've bought 2 of them and use them to surface my spoilboard. The first one I crashed into my clamp bolts manually jogging to surface a spoilboard. Since then I found out about Fusion 360's surfacing op. I paid $26 each for them last year, but the link to Amazon shows $31. Might be able to find it for cheaper somewhere else. Other than the 1" surfacing bit, the largest bits I have used is 1/4".

I ended up ordering a 1/2" diam 1/4" Shank made by Amana. I have not had a chance to try it yet.
