Hi my m3 is all put together. Now I need help setting it up on my computer. I am willing to pay for someone to walk me through the setup. I own a Hobbyshop and want to make my own parts. Right now my machine has no clue where it is in relation to the table. Every time I run a code it alarms ( hits the axis end and keeps going. I watched YouTube and still nothing. I need support to work my machine. Please help me I have been trying for days to calibrate this machine. I want to set up my table dementions and be able to machine parts. Thank you we can fb video message tomorrow to start thanks again and sorry to bother you all.

Have you watched the video tutorial that covers homing and work coordinate systems? I think that is the missing piece of the puzzle. Watch that three times and pause along the way trying the same concepts on your machine and you will start to see how it all works. Please let us know if there is a specific area that seems unclear.

If you hit the limit switches manually and it alarms, thats good, when you home and it hits the axis and keeps going, your limit switches are likely in the wrong port. So if Z axis tries to home and hits the limit switch, well, the computer thinks its not hitting the Z limit switch. Make sense?

The only word of caution on that is that the M3 and Carve King have hard limits turned off by default so it wouldn’t alarm from just a switch hit. It should show a press with verbose output enabled though.
