Ok I have been cutting with my CK and I want to do a project that uses two different bits. Here is the way I think it will work.
1 Start with 1/4” end mill 2 Mark the distant on 1/4” end I’ll that is sticking out of router and mark same distance on 1/16” tapered ball mill. 3 Home machine 4 With 1/4” mill installed move to work place xyz position and hit reset zero 5 Load roughing pass file push run 6 When CK is finished with that file, remove 1/4 mill and insert 1/16th ball mill to the point marked above. 7 Home machine 8 Load finishing pass 9 done
Am I thinking correctly here? Do I need to set work coordinates again for finishing pass? How does Fusion know that the roughing pass removed majority of stock and therefore does not need to do so much for finishing?
Big thanks in advance from a noob!

Big thanks in advance from a noob! Looks good, but no need for steps 1,2,and 7. After you complete the roughing program. You install the next cutting bit for the finishing program, then re-zero/ reset your z origin in ugs. That way your x and y origins remain the same ensuring the two programs line up and the difference in how far the two bits stick out is compensated for when you reset the z origin.
