Newbie here, just received my kit this past Friday.
In the homing package I have two long paddle switches (Z & X Axis), which are all black, as opposed to the one being Black/Red in the manual. I assume that is OK(?) The wire for the long paddle "X" axis switch is quite short, so I mounted it on the rail close to the motor mount plate of the "Y" axis, so that it can reach the electronics assembly at the back left hand corner (looking from front). Although it seems like that electronics assembly would need to be midway along the work platform on that side to allow travel of that switch on that rail as the y-axis moves front to back. Does this all sound correct?
Thanks much.

Hey Mick. There are a few different lenghts of cables. The Y is very short, about 350mm. I think the X wire is 1400mm and the Z wire is 1600mm (or vise versa, I'd have to check my references to be certain on that).
The black/red thing is okay. We just need to update the instructions as we changed over suppliers on those switches. While physically and electrically the same, they look a tad different with the colors.
The Y switch is at the back left of the frame. It's just a short, 350mm wire. The X switch needs to be at the right side of the X rails, as you are looking at it from the front.

Thanks much Derek. Got my wires crossed - literally! I forgot in the whirlwind of building processes it was ME that connected which wire to which switch! Must have read it wrong. Fixed it tonight. Thanks again for the prompt response.
