I am making some key tags on 1.5" diameter brass blanks. I use the Trace toolpath and I can't figure out how to make the machine carve deeper if it's too shallow on the first pass. Can you make the cut deeper?

Can you make the cut deeper? How are you setting your depth initially? Just increase that. Unless you're saying after you do one pass you want to be able to quickly, without having to go back into F360, make it cut deeper? If that's the case, sometimes I will just open the g-code file in an editor and manually adjust the Z level to make a deeper cut. Save the file, and remember to RE-load the file into UGS, and then run it again. I actually do that a lot, now that I think about it, when I'm dialing in a piece of work, and when I have my depth to my liking, THEN I will go back to F360 and edit the original file for future use.

I actually wish UGS had a feature similar to increasing feed speed, wherein you could increase the z depth on the fly. But now that I've said it, I can see where that might get a LOT of new people into a lot of trouble quickly!

I usually reset the Z to a lower level, and re-run the file.
