Hello all,
I have a new M3 build that was going well, then half way through my first cut the router made large motions in the X axis (like excessive chattering? Don’t know the term..), I turned everything off quickly and it seemed that the V wheels had worked loose on the X axis rail.
Would you recommend a small drop of superglue to stop this happening again, or is there a better solution?
Also, is there wiring for an emergency stop button on the controller board? I don’t want to have to yank the mains every time something goes awry.
Thanks!
Daniel

Hey Daniel,
This should not happen if they are sufficiently tight initially. I check V wheels maybe every couple of months.
You can rig up a feed hold button on there. I'd recommend that unless you were going to wire a true E-Stop that cut power to motors.

Thanks for the reply - this was about two hours into the job. Maybe I need to tighten the nylock nuts more.

I agree with that plan.
Have a good one. Derek
