I'm done with all my silly aluminum & PCB milling using tiny bits for now, so I'm back to goofing with wood & nice thick bits. My previous CNC was pretty under powered, so I was always careful not to try to eat too much wood at a time, but with this beefy Power Route, it seems like I could be chewing through wood much more aggressively than 2.7mm/pass with a 2 flute 1/4" bit on Maple. But it's maple, so I don't want to try it unless people confirm it's a good (or bad) idea. So, can I route off more than 2.7mm (the calculator tells me to do 2.7mm at a time), or should I just stick with what the calculator tells me?

That’s not updated with Power Route day yet. I feel you are safe to double that.

That’s not updated with Power Route day yet. I feel you are safe to double that. I might have already grabbed that code and stuck it in a self contained web app that runs on my UGS machine with no local network connection Any chance you can just tell me the data I should update? I'm happy to give you the updated javascript back if that's not your personal strong suit. Heck, I'll even add "which machine are you running" as on option on the page, if you'd like.
