I'm nearly done assembling my M3. I thought of something while getting the belts in place that may help others: when you pull a belt around the anchors and need to attach the belt to itself, use forceps to hold them. I have a couple pairs here because they're sometimes a useful second set of hands for detailed work, and they made the belt installation much easier - forceps before zip tie. The other thing is that I didn't like the arduino board being right up against the frame of the unit, so I used some plastic hex threaded standoff nuts and plastic 4/40 x 1" screws that I happened to have around to give a little space between the board and the frame. This eliminates the possibility of damaging the board by overtightening, and also allows for some airflow behind it in case it gets hot. There's still room for the fan with this setup, if you're careful about the wiring off the stepper drivers:
