I just got my kit today. MDF edges are sealed and epoxy paint is drying. As I was unpacking and taking inventory of all of the components, I noticed something that didn't look right. Please refer to the attached picture and let me know if the yellow connector in the foreground should be offset to the right and raised on the left. There is also one contact on the left that is not in the connector. This is how it came in the sealed package, but as I said, it just doesn't look right. Anyone have this issue, or is it supposed to look like that? Thanks, Mike

Sorry for this issue Mike. That's definitely not normal. The good news is that we are going to take care of you on this if ya can't fix it. I think you can most likely just take some needle nose pliers and pull that yellow connector off then set it back down like it's supposed to be.
If not, I'll have a new one on the way to you Monday.

Oh, it is ok. These things happen. It pulls off easily, but the pins are all bent to the right. I will try to gently push them back to the left. I will let you know if I damage it in the process and need another. Thanks very much for getting the kit to me ahead of schedule.

Derek. I was able to straighten the prongs and get the yellow connector to seat down the way it should. I had to stop just short of powering up, so not sure if all is working properly or if there is damage. It may be a couple of days before I test, but I will let you know if I have an issue with that board. Thanks.

Sounds good bud. Sorry you had to fool with it. I've got dollars to dimes that it's going to be just fine, but if not we've got your back on it.
Another thing to do is to slave that empty red spot labelled "A" to the X axis and avoid the part that might have some doubt.... Probably not worth sending you down that path though because I think that connector is fine. If not though you'll just get another board and I'll show you how to slave A to X to let you run in the mean time.

I will stay on the main path for now. I'm sure it will be fine. I will let you know if it isn't. Thanks.
