I just received my M3 and assembled it over the weekend. I just started everything up, and Gcode says the machine is jogging to XYZ coordinates when I tell it to, but the machine is not moving. My motors are running, and making noises as if they are trying to move, and occasionally the Z axis will move a couple millimeters and stop, but other than that I can not get it to move at all. One of the motors moves back and forth very slightly as if it can't make a full rotation, one moves a little, and the other makes ringing sounds.
I can not seem to isolate the issue. The only thing I can think of is that I fried my board. When adjusting the voltage to .6 on the chips on the stepper board, I had one of them spark/blow. Could my board be fried even though it turns on and my motors move a little?
Any direction on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it could be blown.
Also, are you sure it was set to 0.6V DC? Sometimes people don't actually have the multimeter set correctly and it gets too little power.
Also, are you sure that the set screws are tight to the motor shafts? It seems like the shafts might be spinning in the pulley.

The shafts are not spinning inside the pulleys. I set my multimeter to 2000mv which should be 2v right? I also can not see decimals on my multimeter so my reading of 06 might not be .6. I will double check that.
Thanks for the input, I will get back to you and see what happens.

IF you have it set to 2000 then it is set too low. If its set to 2000 then the reading should be 600.

Ok that makes sense. I only had 25v (and up) and 2000mv so i figured 2000mv would be closer to the 2v. I am no engineer as you can tell haha, still learning.
I appreciate the help, I will look into my multimeter settings.
