Hey guys,
I am using a power route. Haven't quite figured out how to get the z-probe touchplate working correctly (if someone has instructions it would be great)
Could someone look at my current workflow and let me know if there are any changes or unnecessary steps I'm taking?
1. Finish CAM, export G-code / .nc file.
2. Edit the gcode file: - remove any tool change commands - add G0 Z15 so the tool doesnt traverse directly over the material. - some tutorials say to delete the g28 line or disable it when creating the code, but if I have homing switches I dont need to correct?
3. Turn on machine, start homing cycle to get machine zero.
4. Jog the machine over to where I'd like to start / zero it out, and type G10 L20 P1 X0 Y0 Z0 to get work zero.
5. Begin.
Does this seem correct? Once I get more familiar with the machine I'd like to create a post processor for the power route to automate everything mentioned in step 2.
Thanks for any input!
