My wife and I are building the Carve King together. We finally got everything built and moved on to the electronics part. We followed the directions (so we thought) and got everything set up, but when we plugged it into the computer nothing happened. After about an hour of research, we finally realized that we had a little bit of a miscommunication and the power cord was plugged into the arduino board and it was fried. No biggie. Mistakes happen. I had an Elegoo Uno Rev 3 laying around, so I installed GRBL on it and plugged in it so I could keep testing everything else. I only had to change the baud rate to 9600. After I switched out the Arduino with the Elegoo, I got it to connect to my computer and UGS was talking to it but nothing was happening. After troubleshooting each stepper driver individually I found the one that wasn't working and replaced it with the spare. I must have fried it when I was adjusting the voltage. Again, no biggie. That's what the spare is for. The issue now is I can't adjust the voltage on the spare. It will only stay at 1V no matter which way I turn it. I'm not sure if it is something I did, but I can't get it down to .65V.
So now we are down 1 arduino board and two stepper drivers. What do we need to do?

It almost sounds like the multimeter is set to the wrong voltage range. If you have it too high, some (at least one of mine) can't display precise values below 1V so it just calls it 1V, until you adjust the range on the meter.

We covered this one over email.
Thanks Derek
