I thought I'd mention to those interested:
I've settled on the next machine that MillRight CNC will offer. We are currently designing a PLASMA CUTTER!
I don't want to say too much until the development is farther along, but I'll let slip that the design is going to be pretty unique. Actually, it will be down right cool. There is still a lot to decide but we've prototyped some elements of the machine already and it's already looking amazing! I'm not sure if we will offer the plasma power supply with the machine or not, but we probably will. Don't expect this machine to be M3 or Carve King level of inexpensive because most good plasma power supplies and torches exceed $1000 wholesale, but I really think it's going to keep with the theme of MillRight of offering an outstanding value for the money. I don't want to put an exact date on it because I am working on a ton of things right now, but I can't wait to get this on the market. I plan to equip it to be able to cut 3/8" steel like butter!

Sounds pretty slick Derek. Is the work area going to be similar to the PR or larger?

The work area on the plasma cutter will be a little larger than the Power Route’s.

Found this video of a plasma CNC cutter. youtu.be/LvIpgBNyXBs?t=8m30sI'm not thinking this would work in a carpeted basement. (my work room is a converted carpeted basement bedroom)

Carpeted floors and plasma cutters go over like a lead balloon, lol.
I can't get into too much right now, but this plasma cutter is made with the person with limited space in mind. The design is unique to allow you to save space and easily bring it out for making parts.
