Are you saying after the crash that nothing moves at all? What happens if you jog it? When you home it does it move at all?

I can see from your pictures you are using a fairly recent nightly build. The nightly builds are still in testing and can cause all kinds of errors. I'd try a stable build.

Looks like you have an issue with the limit switch. Make sure you don't have any broken wires or disconnections.

Ok I just check my switches the z switch was not responding. The switch was tested open close was operational the red wire was broken at the connector on the switch. I made a temporary repair (rigged it) and now the z switch responds. XY and z all respond on verbose but the machine still gives an alarm 9.

I have tried to install the UGS 2.0 stable but when I open UGS it is still the nightly. It sounds like you might have a shortcut, maybe on the desktop that is pointing to the nightly build. You may need to find the program files and create a new one for the stable version.

FYI the stable may still advise its a nightly. I've seen that. I think he just forgets to take that warning down.
I'm still trying to ascertain exactly what is happening. Alarm 9 is for a homing fail. What happens if you just jog it? It's saying that they aren't found in the range. Does it not move at all when you command a homing cycle? Does it move when then stop after some distance? Does it move but keep traveling through the switch? If so, Z or X/Y?
What do you have in settings 130, 131, and 132?

Derek thank you for your help.
No movement at all. No movement when attempting to jog or homing command. It updates the machine position on the UGS but the machine does not move. If I try another homing command it just gives another alarm 9.
Not sure about the last question. setting 130,131, and 132?

Derek,
Not sure if this means anything, but when the machine was fully operational I noticed the stepper motors would always be a little warm but now they are always cold.

Setting 130, 131, and 132 are in the list that you provided a picture of but the picture cuts them off. Just type $$ and screenshot that area for us.
Warm is good, cold is no good. Sounds likely that when the wire broke the 5V (red wire has 5V) shorter to ground taking down the boards. Do you measure any voltage at the adjustment screw?

Here is the setting for 130,131, and 132 Also I measured the voltage at .65 on all set screws. I pushed the little button on the red board and all is working well. Performed a homing cycle and all worked fine with the z switch now properly wired. Thank You for your help. Joe Attachments:
