Suddenly today after running a number of jobs I am getting a Grbl has not finished booting error. When I plug in the USB cable I hear the machine connect. I then start UGS and click open and hear the normal sound it makes. After that anything I try to do generates the error message and I can't even jog the machine. Any ideas what is happening?

Firmware dumped maybe? It could possibly be a board failure though. Grbl 1p1 for Carve King Homing and No Homing.hex (81.7 KB) You could try to flash that to the board using XLoader too see if it just lost its firmware. If not, we can take the next step.

Discovered the baud rate had defaulted to 9600. Changed to 115200 and all is good again. Whew.

The easiest fixes are my favorite. Glad all is well.
