I'm in the process of moving, and fairly soon I will need to transport my Carve King to its new location. Besides not dropping it, are there any precautions I should take? I'm assuming that it's best to keep it upright. Is there a best position to jog the carriage to for transport? I was thinking I'd try to position it somewhere that would even out the weight distribution as much as possible. Is it best to remove the spindle from the carriage, or can I leave it installed?
Wish me luck! I'm going to attempt to soundproof my operation enough to run my CK in a 5'x5' bedroom closet of a first floor condo without getting complaints from the upstairs neighbor. I'm glad I'm running the spindle instead of a router!

I think I would pull the router out of the mount to reduce weight. I also think keeping the lead screws from getting bent is a priority. Maybe moving he spindle carriage to the middle of the bed would give support to the middle of the screws?
