Hello I have a carve king and I really expect to be doing some interesting projects. I’ve been working on Fusion 360, learning as I go. I created a part and today I just tried running the program. The program ran nicely but I’m using a low profile and with the stock in the vise. I don’t have enough height to add the cutter. Has anyone have a work around. I have a 3/4” spoil-board, and a 1/2” waste board under the spoil board. Thank you

how much are you short by? If you are using a vice get rid of the spoilboard and the wasteboard

I thought in your post that you are already using a vice? And yea, I bought one off of amazon. There are tons of options.

I agree on getting rid of the extra stuff between the bed and the work if you are using a vise.

Thank you all, I'll do some math to see if taking off spoil and waste board will help.
Appreciate your input
FYI there are many vises to choose from. Most will give descriptions as to length and width but not height.
