I'm looking for v-bit recommendations for doing lettering and signage. I know next to nothing about bits, so your recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

When I was looking for a Vbit, the guy at the store (not a big box store, a store that seems to actually know what their doing) said that most his customers who do signs and lettering use a 60 degree 1/2" diameter Vbit.. that's what I bought, the brand was Freud. Have only used it so far to try and carve a photograph, which it worked pretty good for, so can't vouch for lettering and such.

I think I'm going to order a 60 degree and 90 degree v bit set, and then the appropriate collet to mount them in my spindle. The spindle that I got has a collet for a 1/8" shank, and the vbits are 1/4" shank. J
