Hello,
When using the recommended grbl settings of 40 step/mm and 80 step/mm, it seems like the axes move approximately 1 cm when they should move 1 mm. Changing the settings to 4 step/mm and 8 step/mm seemed to give approximately the correct movements, but with these numbers I'm worried about accuracy. Any idea what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance! Victor

I would not change those settings. I may be wrong, but I think one of w/o things may have happened here. Either the jumpers were not place to configure microsteps or maybe you were in inches (G20 set) instead of millimeters (G21 set).
Let us know. I would put it back to where it was and let's check those things please.
Let me know.
Thanks Derek

Finally got around to messing with it again, and you were right! It turns out my jumpers' directions were wrong. I had connected the rows instead of the columns. Switching them around fixed everything.
Thanks again very much Derek! Victor

That's good to hear Vic. Glad it was a straightforward fix.
