New here, wanted to say hello and get an opinion

Good evening, I am new here and to CNC but quite familiar with wood working/turning and metal working with a lathe.

I received a Carve King as a Christmas gift and I am super excited to get it built. I want to start as with the base and work up from there. I am quite fond of the Kreg Bench and I wanted to get an opinion on using the 28” x 28” model as a dedicated base for my CK.  I actually already have the bench from another project so it would be 0 cost, but I would like to get some opinions.

The only concern I would have is if that is big enough. Here is mine on a 24x48 bench.

Thank you, it looks like I would be good keeping the 28” depth but going with the 44” width
