The y-axis motor/ball screw does not spin when commanded, but only oscillate in a violent manner. Where do I begin to troubleshoot this? Thank you.

Could be a couple things. I’ve seen the dip switches on the stepper driver get knocked out of position in shipping. Send a pic of that stepper driver to support@millrightcnc.com please. It’s the middle rectangular black electrical component with the green connectors in the box.
Also let us k ow what happens if you plug X into Y and Y into X.

I switched the cabling to another axis and the problem followed. I then re-seated the connectors and all dip switches on the suspect driver. All is well and I'm in business!! Thanks Derek.
