While I wait for my power route to show up Im wondering what stuff I want to have on hand during the build to make life easier, cleaner and faster.
Im planning on having a bunch of extra zipties to keep all my wiring straight and up to OCD code lol. Ill have shrink wrap, solder and anything else to clean up the wires. What about blue locktight, should I put it on the screws as I assemble? I am also thinking of making 2 lengths of cable with turnbuckles to cross the corners on the bottom side to help me square the deck. I have a dial indicator and calipers as well as straight edges for the squaring. What type of lubrication should I use on the screws and anything else? I was also considering some kind of tray under the unit for WD-40/ coolant cleanup when doing Al. On that note, should I cover the nearby walls with something to keep the splashing off the drywall?
I am also planing on keeping the table its on somewhat mobile so I can slide it over in front of the door for when I do tiling jobs. Will this botch the squareness of the unit?
What have you guys learned from using your unit and what would you do different?
