Hi all,
I got the official M3 spoil board and I am wondering how to best mount it to the bed of an M3.
I have some of the clamping screws but they are all too long to be flush and extend so far past the board that it would clip the front or back plate.
Best and thanks.

I would cut them to the correct length with a hack saw.

I don't actually attach the spoilboard to my M3. When I clamp the work piece down, I use the appropriate length screw to hold the piece with the clamp through the spoilboard to the table, but not too long that it goes through the bottom of the table. That holds the spoilboard down while I am running a job, but it's no longer attached when I remove the finished piece. If you want to have screws holding the spoilboard down all the time, I would go to a hardware store and buy some screws that are the correct length for that (maybe 1/4-20 x 3/4" long? I'm not at my machine to measure), because I have found that I need the different length screws that came with the kit to clamp down my various work pieces.
