Hi I have a Carve King, Dewalt 611 router and mount.
I can't get router spindle to fit, looking for help. I've pried the thinner side of the mount (with bolt removed) away by a large amount, and still can't make it fit. I measured with calipers and there's .5 mm difference between router body and mounting hole, and it looks like the thin arm is about to snap.
Any suggestions on getting the router in without destroying things? Maybe there are variations in Dewalt 611 routers?

There are different mounts for the spindle only and the 611. Hopefully you have the correct one.

We only carry two router mounts: One for the Colt and one for the 611. We have one for the 400w spindle but it looks a lot different. The one for the Colt is a good bit larger than the one for the 611. The 611 mounts are cut in large batches on one of two mills and I've been taking some measurements on the new mill we brought online that cuts a lot of these. The samples have been within a thou of the model. What measurements do you have? PM me your order info please so I can check batches. Got any pics?

OK sending PM in a sec, order was from 2017 - haven't had much free time until now, ha. I get about 68.25mm for the mount opening, and a hair under 69mm for the DP611. Photo of the mount showing how far I've bent it:
