I’m just at the stage of building my carve king and have everything hooked up. UGS says it’s connected through COM3 but the jog buttons don’t move anything on any axis. The steppers are holding tight and their bodies are warm but no movement. I’m using an old laptop running windows 7 but when I first connected it to the board the laptop indicated it was loading drivers. Not sure where to look to be sure the drivers are loaded or just the fact that is confirms a connection may indicate that the drivers are there? Any help would be welcome.
thanks Ed

Update, I loaded UGS on my Mac laptop and everything works perfectly. So must be missing the drivers. All happy now.

I'm trying to get the carve king jogging using my pc laptop rather than my Mac and still cant get any movement happening. UGS says it's connected to COMM 3 but attempting to jog and no movement. I'm trying the manual driver install but what is the device name I'm looking for in the device manager to update or replace the drivers? As I mentioned before, the Mac connects and everything works.

You can identify the device in device manager by plugging and unplugging the USB while looking at the USB devices and COM/LPT ports.
