I noticed recently that sometimes, it doesn't happen all the time, that the right sided y-axis will cease and no longer move in the middle of a project. I have readjusted all the wheels, I have done a soft reset and it will move after the soft reset smoothly but when I start a project at times it will cease. Any suggestions?
Again it does not happen every time but it is happening more frequently. The machine is completely level and I've noticed that when I'm hand spinning the y-axis the right side of one becomes very hard to turn about three fourths away to the front.

I suspect that the driveline is misaligned towards the front. If the antibacklash nut is angled it will try to push the screw up or down and in so doing cause some bind. Also if either the motor or the bearing block is not aligned with the "natural" position it will cause a bind. I'd suggest floating it into place by loisebi g that idler block at the front right then bringing the machine forward then tightening it back down.

I will attend that and see if I have any luck with that.

Are the 8mm? I noticed one missing on the Left side.....assuming user error on install didn't get it tight. Needing to buy a few replacements to have on hand. Thanks!

They take an M5 screw and get held by an 8mm socket or wrench when you tighten it. That will be standard with all M5 nuts.

I also recently ran into a somewhat similar problem. The screw/nut that clamped one of the collars to the left lead screw had come loose.
