That's pretty cool. I don't really need more XY, but I'd love to modify the Z for more travel and more rigidity. I'll stay tuned in case you go in that direction.

I have somewhat of an idea and a few parts rounded up for what I want to do with the z axis but I haven’t had time to put any plans into action.

Something like this is actually on my todo list, once I have a permanent workspace. Right now I use the single car garage we have, and everything goes into storage during winter so the truck can have its bedroom.

I just finished enlarging my carve king after not working on it for about six months due to the birth of my son. Effective travel is now 875x780. I milled all of the aluminum brackets and spacers with my original carve king. I attached the f360 files for anyone who is interested.

Thanks Derek. I now have the same work area as both of your belt driven competitors largest machines in this category, and I still haven’t spent as much as the cost of their machine

Thanks Derek. I now have the same work area as both of your belt driven competitors largest machines in this category, and I still haven’t spent as much as the cost of their machine How about a parts list so we can duplicate? How long lead screws, other hardware, etc?
Qty: 3 - 1040mm 8mm lead screws Qty: 2 - 4040 linear rail 1000mm Qty: 2 - 4040 linear rail 1500mm (cut to 1040mm) Qty: 7 - 2040 linear rail 1000mm Qty: 20 - 90 hidden tee nut makerlink Qty: 2 - 1000mm drag chain Qty: 40 - m5 T nuts Various lengths and quantities of m5 bolts that I sourced locally. I can’t remember all of the lengths that I bought. 2040 linear rail was for the base frame. One in front laying on its 20mm side to bolt the plates to and one in the rear laying on its 20mm side to bolt the rear plates to. The five remaining are laying on the 40mm side under the bed evenly spaced and attached to the front and rear 2040 rail with the 90hidden tee nuts 4040 rail was for the x and y axis. 1000mm rail for the two x rails and cut the 1500mm rail to 1040 for the two y rails. All linear rail ends were tapped with an m5 tap. Wire, aluminum, and bed material were sourced locally. Aluminum is 3/8” I’m sure I’m forgetting some stuff so if you have any questions feel free to ask
