First project prototype

I finally got the carve king up and running. I cut out the Great Lakes,,,,,,being from MI....So the first run was a little deeper than it needs to be. I filled the lakes with epoxy w/glow in the dark powder. I am working on a few other lakes. the pictures show the progress with finishing up with a glow in the dark shot of the lakes. I have been working on some better tool paths for better detail. I still need to finish with stain and poly or another layer of epoxy.

That is so cool. I got some glow in the dark powder for a project but ended up using something else because I thought it wouldn't turn out. Glad to see how wrong I was!.

A very interesting solution. I also do wood carving and use powder pigments, I add Glow in the dark pigment powder to a transparent or translucent paint base and it turns out very cool. With powders, you can make your own paint or create your own colors.
