Not the most glamorous or intricate project ever, but a project none the less... This is a gauge for leveling a lawn mower deck. Have been fighting mine for some time now. Put the round end of the arm up to the tip of the mower blade (it slips under the deck from the outside). Measure each blade tip's height and adjust till level. Each notch represents 1/4" of height as the arm swings up. Anyway, not pretty, but useful Attachments:

I see I am not the only one who's fought an un-level lawn mower cutting deck. I've never seen one of these before but it's a great idea and I bet it is very useful. I wished I had one several weeks ago when I was trying to level mine.

Ya this is a good project. Is there any such thing commercially available? If not you might want to look into it. I would have gotten one a time or two in the past if I had seen one.
