Just received my machine a few weeks ago and started assembly. However we decided to move to our home in the North Georgia Mountains during this epidemic and left it behind. I am debating going to pick it up, assemble it and use it here for now.
Question being, once this thing blows over how easy would it be to transport it back and reassemble? Would this not be recommend?
Thanks

How big a truck do you have? I think if you tie the gantry down good you should be ok in moving it. But the 35x35 is going to be very big and heavy. May take three or four guys to move it safely.

Truck would not be a problem, but in retrospect probably not a good idea. Moving it down a bumpy gravel road I would be afraid of damaging it. The only potential way would be to disassemble it, at least partially. Not sure how it would fair taking it apart and putting it back together again.

Actually I noted how easy it was to get the x axis off of the bed during the build. We forgot to torque down some stuff. But it took 3 men to move my xl with an mdf bed from one bench to the other.

Maybe he could give you some tips on what to secure if you move it that way. But based on that example, I would have no problem securing it well and moving it in the back of my pickup. Just my 2cents
