That is phenomenal work and an awesome way to honor our healthcare heroes. Also a great report from the local affiliate.

Here are a couple videos, one using Fusion 360 and another using V-Carve Pro which is available here in the MillRight Store.

Yup those are good training videos, I bought the model from Dario, loaded it into Aspire and roughed it with a 1/4" end mill then finished it with a tapered 1/16" ball mill. Lastly I put some blue mask material on the base I designed and v-carved it with a 60 deg two flute bit. A little cleanup with the Dremel, two coats of shellac in the lettering finished with some gold paint (Testers). Peeled off the mask and gave it a coat of minwax antique furniture oil, the next day.

When you say 'clean up with the dremel', what exactly are you using for bits? I'm thinking a small sanding drum, but there are probably other bits you rely on for this and I was going to make an order and would like someone experienced to give me some recommended bits that come in handy during cleanup operations. I haven't done any 3d carving yet, but I'm trying to learn the process.
