Controling 400w sipndle kit with uno + cnc shield?

I have been trying to figure out how i can do this for a couple of days. Can some one point me in the right direction?

Note 1: Inside row pins are positive polarity. Outside are common or ground.


Note 2: With Spindle PWM control enabled the Z+ and SpnEn pins are switched.  A signal converter from the PWM may be required to connect to the spindle speed control input.

Note 3:
Additional changes to the GRBL setup parameters are required.

The $32 GRBL setting is set for Laser/spindle mode.
$32 = 1 (Laser-mode enable, boolean)

Hi!

I have finally got my machine up and running again after my Arduino suddenly quit on me. 

When i try to send $32=1 i get this...

[Error] An error was detected while sending '$32=1': (error:5) Homing cycle failure. Homing is not enabled via settings. Streaming has been paused.

homing works fine. i know i have to switch Z+ and spnen when i change $32 but i cant change it.

what am i missing?

Have you made the wiring change for Z+ and SpnEn for the Z axis limit switch?
Post all the machine GRBL settings so we can check them. Which machine do you have?

These settings are all good. You have Homing enabled; $22 = 1 (Homing cycle enable, boolean)
Not sure why you are getting an error 5
