Hey all, A while back I made a post showing some injection molds we had made at my work with the M3. We've been trying to get a little more visible with our business and I've since then published the first volume of a series of blog posts outlining the process of what I did on our company website. I thought I'd share it here since I'll be going into some detail about using the M3 and the CAD/CAM of it all. If you're interested in checking it out the link to it is here. There isn't too much detail in the first "Volume", but I just needed to get a post out so our blog had something. I'll be discussing the methods I used with much more detail in posts to come. Thanks everyone!

Interesting. Do these molds have to be made in Aluminum? I'd say steel would be the better option in full scale production injection molding. They last much longer and have a little more thermal inertia to aid in the temperature control. On the M3 though, I've only ever stuck to aluminum 6061 because it's much easier to machine. We've just been using them for prototyping as well so they don't need to last that long.
