I'm curious, will the fluid setup be like the professional CNC's I see, where it floods the cutting space with fluid? If so, how will that not make a huge mess and run all over the floor? Or is this more for very tiny amounts of fluid, akin to squirting a few drops of fluid on a cut every few seconds and it's not enough to even run off of the piece being cut.

It's a mist. The fluid is atomized with the high speed air. Uses very little fluid for how effective it is.

Do you just turn on manually (or connect air) when you're starting a cut- or do you have the arduino controlling a solenoid to deliver pulses of air?
