This is a simple v-carving of a design my daughter in law drew. She is also in the USAF (in Alaska) I'm not sure what the meaning behind the Honey Badger is but thought it turned out looking pretty good. And I'm not sure what kind of wood it is but it had a nice figured wood grain. My mom bought several live edge round cuts for me as a birthday gift, so I don't know where it came from. 1/4" 60Deg V-Bit for the lettering and a 1/2" 90Deg V-bit for the rest of the design. I used black acrylic paint and satin lacquer for the clear coat.

Looks great. Are you planning for this be hung on a wall? I think it would like great on some wood stands to place it on a shelf

Looks great. Are you planning for this be hung on a wall? I think it would like great on some wood stands to place it on a shelf I put a mounting hook on it to be hung on the wall. But that would be a good idea, I actually have a pattern I have been playing with for stands but was pressed for time...as usual.

I'm in process of designing a cutting board stand that will universally hold different sizes, so this reminded of it. This was the first draft of it, a bit bulky and ugly, but you get the idea. imgur.com/a/UNqdeSL
