Does anyone know if there’s any reason wood shouldn’t be cut with a bit made to cut carbon fiber? Obviously wood is far softer than CF but I don’t want to assume. The bit I have is “Amana Tool 46008-K”.
Thanks in advance anyone!

Seems as long as the wood isn't too soft and gets stuck in the teeth of the bit I would say it should work.

That’s a terrible idea. Wood really ought to be cut with something that throws off shavings to get a good finish. Carbon fiber needs to be almost sanded at the highest speed your spindle will run. Those carbon fiber bits are going to almost instantly be filled with sawdust and then break. The carbon fiber cutters work best in water where the water conducts the heat away from the bit. Unless you just don’t care about the bit I wouldn’t use it on wood. Get a nice compression or up cut spiral bit for wood.
