So I started a game studio during Covid and it's been going better than it has any right to. Somehow I convinced a bunch of amazing developers, artists, and actors to jump on board. (Seriously our dev team is ACES. People who worked on Bauldurs Gate, Bejeweled, Dragon Age, Mass Effect and lots of other very well known titles) This is the start of the arcade cabinet we are building to promote the game at events and trade shows. It's going to be a pirate ship looking thing with a monitor mounted to the mast and a large banner/sail on the top. I'm planning on doing 3d carvings all along the sides to make it look like the sides of a ship with people peeking out here and there. Maybe some battle damage too. I'll keep you all updated... In the meantime check out our Discord discord.gg/TDcGJQu and twitter twitter.com/HanksInferno, if you like what you see consider joining our mailing list for the game at www.hanksinferno.com

Well more like Mass effect meets Gauntlet in semi-procedural dungeons.(Hand crafted rooms with procedural layout) It really doesn't neatly fit any of those games though because we are trying a lot of new things. For example we have a recruitment system based on how the player plays. A unique difficulty system that's built into the narrative and gameplay choices. (You can change the difficulty on the fly with the press of a button, but the tradeoff is you get less loot at lower difficulties.) Allies can become enemies and enemies can become bosses. Other stuff too. We are going for comedy all the way though if it isn't obvious by the title. Because he plays a lot of gruff serious characters Mark Meer isn't known well for comedy in the united states(canada is a different story though), but he's funny as hell and I can't wait to show everyone. We'll have a demo out soon. and you can try it out yourself.
