Hi all. Newbie here. Just completed build and having some issues. First let me say I am a woodworker and not an electrical engineer or machinist just for reference. Anxious to put this thing to work and get back to woodworking. Starting to feel like I am caught up in a science experiment. The build went pretty well but having trouble getting machine to operate properly. Tested all movements in UGS. Button X- Spindle moves right X+ Spindle moves left Y- Table moves forward Y+ Table moves backward Z- Spindle moves down Z+ Spindle moves up At this link there are two videos. One shows attempt at homing and the other running the MillRight sample file. goo.gl/photos/dZc14d9h7sUtcQy4AAny direction on what I may not have done correctly would be appreciated.

Congrats on the build. It looks good.
The X and Y are just running opposite. Turn everything off, including disconnecting the USB cable and wait 60 seconds. Turn the plug for the Y upside down from how it is plugged now. Now turn the plug for the X upside down too. Boot everything back up and it will run right.
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the quick response. Now can run the sample file with no crashes and looks like it will work. Still have some work to do getting homing switches in the right position but serious headway.

Managed a first cut. Need to get clamping under control but at least the machine did not eat itself. Fit of the Dewalt into the mount is extremely tight. Wasn't sure I would get it in and may not get it out. Removed the tightening bolt and had to pry on the mount a bit to get it to slide in. Otherwise looks like I am on my way.

Yea, we had them made tight on purpose.
Btw, pics aren't showing up for me. I'd love to see what you made.
