The stepper motors on my machine each cycle on and off at random when running a program and when sitting idle. The voltages are correct on the drivers but after that I do not know what to check for. Any help would be appreciated.

Check for a poor power connection, like the wires that run from the stepper driver shield to the power socket.

I had this problem. The USB hub on my computer crapped out on me at random.
