does anyone have a spindle and a router and swap them as needed. I "assume" the spindle would be more capable of performing smaller more intricate accurate engraving cuts vs the router which would seem to me to be better for shaping and milling larger harder objects. If any one has both and swaps them - is it a Pain to swap out or could/did you set up a method to accomplish this ie. quick disconnect wiring? or is it kind of impossible to do. trying to decide if I should include both options with my pre-order or go with one or the other. thanks.

Hi Kec,
The assumption about smaller more intricate engraving cuts is not quite right. Both will be able to do that.
Most people do not swap them on a regular basis. You could, however, put some quick disconnects on the spindle wires to make it easy from a wire standpoint. On the Carve King in particular, swapping from router to spindle would not be that difficult, but you will have to take time to make sure the router and spindle is perfectly plum. each time you swap. If it were me, I'd just go with the router and leave it mounted.

It's ahead of schedule. We say 5 weeks on the website but we've gotten the last few out at more around 4 weeks and we are picking up steam.
