I posted this on the General and got no responses. I have a MegaV XXL and am wanting to cut 45 degree miter edges on .75" plywood. What is the best 90 degree bit for making this cut? Also will Vectric Pro create the right steps to with a bit that won't be 1.5" in diameter? I see a lot of bits that are 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" diameter that should do it. I am just curious when using a 1/4" shank Makita router should I go with a smaller bit and more passes.
My end goal is to cut to cabinet panels that will attach at miter edges and make a perfect 90 degree angle. Thanks in advance for any help or insight, I just don't want to buy bits I don't need especially at $50 a pop.
