I used the CNC to drill the holes for the cribbage boards. That is a task that is tedious and difficult to be accurate with. Problem solved.
Also used it for the inscription on the one board.
Channels for inlay strips were done on a router table but could also be done on CNC.

Okay so I noticed in the picture that I glued the name in upside down on the cribbage board. Stuff happens when your workshop is the garage and it is 100 degrees out. Easy to lose concentration. Anyway chiseled that one out and cut a new inscription. Used 1/16 Aspen glued on 1/16 Walnut. I think it looks better this way as the letters have a dark background. Live and learn. Shameless promotion if anyone is interested: hommerwoods.etsy.com/

Looks very good. 👍 Pity the 45s in corners don't blend in together. Hope you don't take that the wrong way they look brilliant. Just wondering what did you use to finish them ?

Very nice work! Mind if we stick that in the social media "share bank"?

I do try to get the corners to line up to make a better pattern but didn't do quite as good this time. One of those areas I need to spend more time on to get it right.
I use inlay banding I mostly buy from inlaybanding.com.
Finish is wipe on poly.

Did a test cut of both the holes and the inlay channels with two different Easel generated files. I didn't have the board mounted quite square but overall the results were good. Will start making several of these as they are good sellers on my site.
